Still-image checks use EXIF/C2PA, spectral artifacts, CFA/demosaicing consistency, ELA, JPEG grid, and local noise. Video-only pulse and motion checks do not apply.

Standalone voice checks use bandwidth, pitch jitter/shimmer, harmonic-to-noise ratio, cepstral prominence, formant movement, modulation rhythm, and wideband spectral cutoff. For phone scams, always verify out of band.

Direct video files work best. YouTube and similar platforms may block VPS downloads; upload the saved video file when that happens.
